Dear Athletes,
Warm weather has arrived, but the Revolution is hot! We plan to keep up our outstanding programming all summer, and we’ve got great fitness opportunities planned for the fall.
We hope you’ve noticed our RevFit ads and fliers throughout Boston and the South End. We’re getting the word out about your favorite gym, and we’re working to make the Revolution even stronger.
My family has grown with the birth of twin sons, Ryker and Rowan, on April 26. And the Revolution is growing, too. Remember that Revolution Fitness has the equipment, classes, instructors, and trainers you need to keep yourself in shape for the beach this summer and to keep yourself healthy for life.

NEW SUMMER GROUP EXERCISE SCHEDULE
begins sunday, june 1
Great new group classes added:
Kil’ Boxing: Kilbert Pierce, a personal trainer and former professional boxer who joined us from Body Evolver, will teach Kil’ Boxing on Mondays at noon. Try this great 60-minute lunchtime workout for both technique and agility. And you can ask Kilbert about the time he fought Mike Tyson!
Ultimate Fitness Fusion: Heidi Tobias, RevFit instructor with over thirty years of group exercise experience, will debut her newest innovation. Ultimate Fitness Fusion, Thursdays at 5:30 p.m., will challenge Heidi’s long-dedicated students and new class participants alike. Try this 90-minute workout for an outstanding combination of cardio sculpting and plyometric low-impact moves. The class includes a break at the 1-hour mark for transition to floor work that combines yoga and stretching.
Core & Stretch: Patty Cripe has long taught a fantastic stretch class on Monday evenings but, for the summer, we’re combining her weekend abdominal workout with a great deep stretch. Try this 45-minute class at 10:20 a.m. Saturdays for an excellent way to firm up the core and stretch out your muscles.
RoadRace Spin: Autumn Halazon is still teaching a great evening spin class, but she’s moving to Tuesday nights. And, the added bonus is a lunchtime spin class with Autumn at 1 p.m. Wednesdays for an intense, high-energy 45-minute workout blast to break up your work day!
Other Schedule highlights: *Ben Booth’s Sasoma Yoga has been renamed Perpetual Yoga and is moving to 7 p.m. Thursdays. He’ll still teach his noon yoga on Mondays. *Soha Ahmed is moving to the evening for summer with Crunch&Grind, an awesome Monday night spin and abs workout. *Work your core for 30 solid minutes using basic mat Pilates techniques with Jolene on Mondays.

SUNRISE YOGA
8 weeks, 7 Chakras, 6 a.m.
Do Sun Salutes as the morning sunshine warms your face. RevFit group instructor Krista Schieffer will offer an 8-week yoga class in a neighborhood park. Meet at RevFit 6 a.m. Tuesdays, walk to the park, and experience a different chakra each week as you find your center before you start your day.

PERSONAL TRAINERS JOIN TEAM REVFIT
Jenny Barry has over 10 years of fitness experience and is currently one of Boston’s most elite personal trainers and group exercise instructors. She holds a degree in Marketing from Northeastern University and is in the process of completing a second degree in Exercise Science. Jenny uses both her personal and educational experiences to support her lifetime goals of helping others. With numerous national fitness certifications including NASM, AFAA, and MADDOG spin, Jennifer represents her "total fitness lifestyle" throughout the major Boston gyms, health clubs and most elite spas. In 2006, Jenny won MIT’s “Fitness Instructor of the Year” award. She is also a NPC figure competitor. Jenny’s most recent professional accomplishment was being chosen alternate female Gladiator, “Blast,” on NBC’s newly re-released season of American Gladiators, hosted by WWE champion, Hulk Hogan. The show aired its premiere episode January 6. Jennifer states that her greatest sense of fulfillment is dedicating her life to help incorporate health and fitness into the life of others. Lauren Jensen discovered her passion for health and fitness while attending the University of Central Florida. Moving to California, she followed this passion and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Lauren has trained a diverse spectrum of clients ranging from pre-teen to senior citizen. Utilizing her special-populations background, Lauren has helped many clients with various physical limitations reach their overall goals. Lauren continues to research current fitness, nutrition and holistic trends, which helps her to constantly introduce new exercises to each client for fun and effective individualized workouts. To Lauren, each day is a learning experience and she continues to learn and grow as a Fitness Professional.
